a draining day

pictures of her when she was sick

Allyson watching videos on the computer with daddy

Allyson is doing so much better. Her fever has stayed down, thanks to Tylenol and Motrin.

Allyson started getting sick on Saturday evening. She took a nap and woke up with a fever. She went to bed and was sleeping fine. At a.m. she was do for more Tylenol. I go in to check on her and she was burning up. I gave her some Pedialyte and then gave her a bath. She was so scared that she was screaming. It took her awhile to settle down, but finally fell asleep. The next morning she was doing good. Crawling and eating her food. Around 11 she took a nap. She woke up around 12 something. She was burning up. She got sick so we put her in the bath to cool her down. She got dressed and was playing with Matt. Next thing you know she goes limp and her eyes roll back into her head. I called 911. The ambulance arrived a minute or two later. By the time they arrived she was out of the seizure. we got into the ambulance. They took us to Akron Children's Hospital. They took us right in and got us a room. Gave her motrin at 4 and then tried her to drink Pedialyte and then powerade. Finally she took milk. She kept it down and they released us.
